Thanks for the information. I was intending on replacing the entire pump assembly. However, I have heard some discussion regarding replacing just the "pump motor". I replaced an entire pump assembly in my 1991 C900 which is a very similar procedure. Now I am considering replacing just the "pump motor" because it's a lot cheaper. When you did this on your son's '02 did you have any trouble installing the pump motor into the assembly?
