My mechanic left the 2001 TCM because there was a gearbox light.
He thought that the box could be going in limp home.
But with the 2001 TCM, the box doesn't work and we can't update the 2001 TCM because it is already up to date.
All the inconveniences are now gone.
There is just this P0826 code that bother me.
For I see two solutions:
- I find a way to clear the P0826
- I update my car by adding the paddle shifter.
As far as I looked on the web, I must replace some parts to manage the paddle update:
-Speedometer replacement because of the -M+
-Sid replacement because It manage the signal between paddle and TCM
-Airbag with paddle replacement
-Plastic cover of the shifter replacement because of the -M+
But I am not sure It will work...
I've got a friend who has a 2003 MY2004 AERO with paddle and Winter button. So if find a similar car maybe I could update mine.
All of this is just conjecture.
Thank you again for your time.
