Towards the firewall is probably the oil pressure switch. You should be able to see if from above if you look past the battery under the intake manifold with a flashlight. Things like that are easier to see at night. On the passenger side behind the wheel could be the oil pump o-ring or oil seal. I just replaced cracking oil pump o-rings on my 2000 and 2001. They can go from dripping to gushing in a hurry so make sure your oil light is working in case the oil pressure drops suddenly.
