Something a bit strange just started happening within a day or two of each other.

Car 1 is a 99 9 5 sedan i4 175k miles
Car 2 is a 01 9 5 wagon v6 195k miles

Both were running ok. Did an oil change for both about 2-3 weeks back with Mobil 1 and fram oil filters. I have been using these exact filters for about 4 oil changes and of course Moble 1 forever.

Both cars are giving oil pressure lights at under 1k rpm. It's really scary the both card are acting the same way after longer drives, like hwy speed for 15+ minutes (or more). All is good until the RPMs for either gets < 1k rpm , light flickers a bit and will come on if you stop at n intersection, etc.

I have seen this in the i4 when I would take too long to change oil. Like 4k+. But this oil has only been in for 2-3 week and maybe 500 miles, etc.

The v6 never had this issue and is running pretty well.

Has anyone else seen any strange Mobile 1 issues lately? They haven't changed to formula or something? (I know it's a long shot), but both cars having the exact same issue.

I will probably redo one or both of the changes to see if it remains, etc.

It could be that both cars have something wrong, but on the same oil change and within a day or to of search other, wierdo...
