If you left the courtesy light bulb in the socket, that could help run the battery down not to mention make for burned fingers when you remove it from the door panel. Maybe the battery was close to end of life before you did this project. The weak battery probably had something to do with the clicking noise when you moved the seat.
Sometimes jump starting a newer car can raise cain with electronics, and a weak battery can create problems too. It could be that the TB control box was impacted by these events or it could be coincidental. I have had to replace 2 TB's in 125k, so there are issues with them.
Better check the rollers in the other front door too. When mine broke on the passengers side I found one on the drivers side that had a crack in it as well.
