Hi everyone,
It's good to be back- I only lasted a year without a Saab and just recently bought 05 Arc for my 16-year old son. It needs some attention.
I drained automatic transmission fluid (which was very dark) and tried to refill with Toyota Type IV through the dipstick tube. Only 1 quart went in and then fluid came back out like it was overfilled. I've done this before without any problems. I gave up on refilling since I had to travel for work. What can possibly cause this? About 5 quarts came out during the draining. Cooling lines are disconnected as I am also replacing the radiator? Air in the tranny?
