I installed a SaabAux about four years ago. Yes you need to be a little creative. The first unit I got was defective and they made good on it and sent a second. I find that when the ambient temperature goes above 90F it sometimes acts up and doesn't work correctly. Recently the right channel is partially intermittent. It may be the connector that lives next to the seat heater control. Playing CDs in the dash player really confuses it and requires restarting the car to clear it out. It's got its quirks but overall has been good.
