Most likely up high are 'standard' leak at passenger side head gasket / timing chain cover OR the timing chain tensioner seal.
Search 'standard oil leak' or timing chain tensioner. I agree oil ca sometimes 'climb' - but that's fairly rare. I have had to address both leaks I mention as well as the oil pressure sender switch. Oil didn't climb from that - BUT a leak at the front crank seal DID 'climb' up the engine because the oil was slung by the centrifugal force of spinning harmonic balancer / crank pulley.
