what are the observed symptoms? Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Tue, 6 Oct 2015 19:32:40 In Reply to: Can my Koni FSD's be shot at 40K?, Dean, Tue, 6 Oct 2015 15:46:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
ride height? (not shocks really)
clunking? If so, that could easily be sway bar links. Get MOOG replacements. I used Febi the first time, they lasted about 1 year. Swap is a walk in the park and parts are cheap. The symptom is low speed clunks over certain sorts of bumps: speed bumps, cracks, etc.
If it is rear sagging or camber issues or inside edge tire wear, and you did spacers without changing springs (yes new springs could sag in 40k), have you looked at the condition of rear bushings yet?
Have you been hauling lots of tile and concrete in the car or something?
I doubt the konis are shot. I don't think my oem fronts were shot when I put konis on all 4 corners at about 80-90k, but I wanted the full complete balanced package. I just did the rears on my 900 and wish I had done all 4.
good luck!
