We've had SaabAux in a 9-5 Aero Wagon for four+ years. Installation is not fiddly but does require removal of most of the center stack of electronics. You'll need to modify the connectors on the back of the cage.
The first unit I installed malfunctioned and I sent it back for a replacement without hassle.
The second one has been fine except as listed below.
When it's very hot in the summer the radio takes on a mind of its own and will randomly jump in and out of CD mode. It has to be around 90F or higher for this to happen. We're in NE Ohio so this is not that big a deal. Big bumps also seem to exacerbate the issue. I suspect some of the connectors either in the unit or in the loom are slightly wonky.
My wife will NOT own a car without an iPod/Pad/Phone connector so this solution has kept peace in the family. I'd recommend purchasing one. The benefits have far outweighed the drawbacks.
