Same as pme says. I have went through this twice with TB's now on my 04 aero. seems like every 60k, they will throw codes, I clean them, ok for awhile then more codes and ultimate TB failure, I have replaced both times with OEM and not used rebuilts due to the amount of negative comments here. The electonics go bad. I am not sure if that gets adequately addressed during a rebuild. I think heat kills these things just like DI's.

Odd I never had a TB problem on my 00 9-3, not in almost 200k.
