I use Saab OEM blades on my '08 Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 30 Dec 2015 04:11:27 In Reply to: Re: 2008 Sportcombi, wiper arms and wiper blades, NCCaniac [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 29 Dec 2015 19:52:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
These blades are made by Valeo so they may be available in the aftermarket. I am certain everyones else's claims of wiper blade compatibility with the Saab straight tip arms are bogus. The Saab blades aren't inexpensive but they last for two or three years of use. Compared to the pricing of other premium wiper blades the OEM versions are compatible.
I bought a set of arms off an '06 from a local wrecking yard just in case the gorgeous factory blades disappeared from the market. So far these salvaged arms are still sitting in my parts cabinet
Looks like TireRack sells these Valeo blades to fit our Saabs. It looks like the quoted price is for a set of two. If not, this is the most expensive price I have seen for these as the norm has been ~$55 for a pair in a Saab box.
