It was time to do the thermostat this weekend on my 2008 Sportcombi. Looking in my parts bin I found two. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on these.
Both are made in Germany. The whaler is clearly more robust. A quick glance might suggest that the the Whaler does not have vent, but it does:
I ended up choosing the Whaler, this is the brand I have been using in Saabs for 25 years. More and more I get the sense that the quality of Proparts parts are, at best, hit or miss.
I didn't test these in pan on the stove before installing ... maybe I should have!
Thoughts?
