Ok, it's a 2001 se v6. The owner said he was leaving home one day, got to the end of the driveway and it shut off on him just before Xmas, might had been just after forgot that part. So he says that since then it won't start anymore. Of coarse I know in my mind that this is a good buy if I can fix it, but would still be a good buy if I can't fix it because I also have a 2000 wagon that needs little thing here and there. He said that the timing belt is good, the fuel pump is pumping and all other things seem to be in order. I have never and I do mean never dealt with the v6 only know the 4's so I know nothing about them. Does the di cassettes in the v6's just die like that?
My main question is if these main things that make it run are working where else would I look, should I try new di cassettes? I do believe that's the only thing he has not tried.
