The best and quickest way for me is to remove the air intake hose at air mass meter and shove the cone shaped plug into the aluminum tube.
I was quite amazed over how well it works and it smokes the whole intercooler system, intake and crank case system in one sweep.
At first I thought that most of the smoke and pressure would leak out through an open exhaust valve but it leaves plenty of smoke and pressure inside the engine so when you pull the oil dipstick you get a whoosh and a puff of smoke coming out.
Don't know which one to buy since I bought mine my Vacutech Evapro 2000E years ago and it was some $1300.00 at that time. It doesn't have to be complicated and I think there are a lot of cheaper stuff now.
