These rear ends are not "flimsy crap". It is an advanced 3 link design that uses rubber "rose" bushes for the lateral arms and a rubber bush at the front of the trailing arm.
The proper maintenance for the suspension is that it be set to proper ride height and after replacing any damaged rubber bushings. The trailing arm bushing is best done with a poly bushing. The outer lower lateral bushings are the first to wear.
Setting the proper ride height usually means spacers. If you arbitrarily feel that the ride height is too high then you need to re-engineer the whole system and not just throw some crude adjustable arms at it.
In my opinion these arms are crap is because people throw them in and use them to adjust the camber and don't worry about the condition of the suspension rubber bushes, or the trailing arm bush or the ride height.
Also who knows how strong these arms are? Will they bend? Will they break at the wrong time.......like under heavy cornering or an evasive highway maneuver.....that could be fun and fatal.
I have had very good success with fixing 9-5 suspension properly and not re-engineering the suspension with no knowledge or testing or experience in what may happen and how it may work.
