Hello, I just changed the CPS on my 2007 9-5 Aero with 240,000Kms and noticed there was no small heat shield that people on the board mention. A GM dealer replaced the CPS once under warranty at 62,000kms. So...either they discontinued this heat shield for my model year or the GM Mechanic didn't put it back on. Does anyone Know the status of this heat shild for the later years?

Many thanks to all who posted directions on this job. i tacked it from the bottom and luckily was done in 1/2 hour. The #30 torx screw came off easy...mabbe a little too easy. Pulled the plumbing aside a few inches to get at the wireing harness and voila.

2007 9-5 Aero (Auto) 240,000kms
1996 9000 Aero (auto) 255,000kms (blown head gasket)
1989 900T Convertible (5-Speed) 200,000kms (Pooched gearbox)
