This car is a long project.
I live back east and the car is not used in winter so it does run a 82C thermo, just put a new one in and still seems to creep up there in traffic ,I can watch the coolant temp. on the SID and turn on the right - passenger side - fan at will, usually do so at 90 C. The car does have a ETS inter cooler and I think that doesn't help. With a 82 thermo and 3" down pipe the car has never threw a code but outside temp is usually never below 40-45 F more like 60-90 F , Car seems to really like it around 80- 85 C and fuel milage seems to be the same as when running a 89 thermos.
Maybe I will let it run up to 100-105 C to see if fans kick on just hate to see my car that high, but from what I read they sometimes run even hotter.
