Is it safe to start the car while on jackstands? Wheels Posted by bender [Email] (#268) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bender) on Sun, 26 Jun 2016 11:26:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
completely off. I want to change the transmission fluid to the synthetic kind and after filling it, I have to run it in first gear and flush it out a few times.
If the car is on jack stands and the wheels are off, is it safe to do so or should I play it totally safe and put the wheel back on and drive it for a bit, repeating the process? It's really just time...
Only worry is the vibration could somehow cause it to not be that safe. I put blocks of wood on the jack stands so that the jack point beam sits on the wood.
