Replacing the jalousie around the auto shifter Posted by NCCaniac [Email] (#352) [Profile/Gallery] (more from NCCaniac) on Thu, 11 Aug 2016 11:52:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have read the various posts on this in this forum and I have the new jalousie part, but removing the plastic trim to get to it is still giving me fits.
I removed the rubber surround trim and then was trying to remove the plastic trim plate using plastic trim pry tools, but could not get it to move without fearing I was going to snap the plastic trim or the pry tool itself. I had read about tabs near the P-R and M-L markings, but someone had mentioned pushing "down" near there and that did not make sense to me.
There must be some "trick" I am missing from reading the other descriptions. Anyone have more details or perhaps even photos?
