Dean - Thanx for quick response! Yes, I tried to find online any technical breakdown and sequence of the inner workings of the ABS unit, first for Saab or Bosch or any brand system, but no luck yet. Maybe I'd better re-read my WIS? Your description logic seems akin to how an engine starter works - solenoid is energized and then moves forward to engage starter gear to flywheel and then hits the switch for electric current to turn starter motor. For ABS, the individual wheel spin sensors have to initiate through the controller to pulse each solenoid and before or after the pump gets turned on. Anyway, I thought I did a good contact clean of any connectors, but maybe I try again. I believe I used a special Radio Shack kit that has a cleaner spray and a second contact enhancement treatment spray. Maybe the WIS has a specific metering test for the correct connector pins?
