These sorts of things always seem to happen: I had a car with a stumbling throttle body and the occasional no-crank-no-start problem we all associate with NSS issues. Replaced both with new units. Understand that if the engine would turn over it has always started on first crank. Now, one day after the work, I have the no-start but cranking like crazy thing that we usually associate with a bad CPS - car starts easy when cold, after short trip will not start until sufficiently cooled down.

Now, if I give it a shot of starting fluid the car fires instantly. With my understanding of the CPS this seems odd. The fuel pump was replaced about 4 months ago. I could stand to change the fuel filter but can't think of much else. I've checked and double checked my work around the throttle body and everything is in its place.

Any thoughts you might have would be most welcomed.
