Insurance Adjuster/ claims advice needed

My daughter's 04 Aero got hit by a driver running a stop sign. From pix she sent the drivers side front fender & door were damaged. Can't tell about frame or if anything got pushed behind the fender. My question is other drivers'insurance adjuster(Liberty Mutual) will declare car totaled,and offer about $900 payout. I want it fixed,have had the car for 9 years and $$$$in repairs. What are my options here? Play the lawyer card, possible medical issues, pay for independent adjuster? Not looking for the moon but would like car back on the road. Thanks in advance
