My 2000 9-5 SE wagon was fine then displayed "key not accepted" and would not crank. The bypass trick pressing fob buttons did not work. Per Saabnet research I diagnosed a faulty TWICE. I purchased a used Twice with key and had the car towed for Tech2 installation & programming to the cars original keys. They could not program it and suspected I purchased a moisture damaged Twice. I purchased a second used Twice & key advertised from running car. They could not program it stating the its key became unrecognized before the cars existing keys were added. They said my keys w/ banana fob are problematic and recommended new style integrated keys. I purchased new keys through them and a third Twice w/chip advertised as new from ebay and it won't program. They suspect its a used defective unit sold as new. I owe over 1200 to the garage and invested in a stockpile of Twice units and the car won't start. Any suggestions? The car did display "change key battery" previously. Could this be related?
