Damaged strut tower...options?

Post kerb strike saga continues. After control arm I thought knuckle, but mechanic says strut is slightly bent and strut tower slightly deformed. He said a new strut would probably improve the situation, but the strut tower was a frame shop issue. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this sort of situation. Keep in mind this is a 04 9-5 with 130K miles and probably not worth that much $$. Can they be bent back? Or is it a cut and weld. opinions on my options will be greatly welcome. TIA.
