I like to shift the motor forward in the compartment and rotate it head first towards the front. No issues on the first 2 alternator R + Rs I did on 9-5s but I think I overdid it on the '06 wagon. Small leak now, where trans fluid line enters and leaves the radiator.
Might disconnect all this next time I do an alternator. I like to refresh the 4 quarts or so of Toyota T I-IV I can easily get every 15K or so - might be able to get another quart with this line off.
