So if I understand you correctly Airtex/Wells was buying SEM DICs and then reselling to places like RA and Autozone ? And then they might or have started to manufacture their own DI .

I'm curious because I bought a DIC several yrs back from Autozone and recall that it was Airtex/Wells branded but folks on here had mentioned it was really SEM or as least labeled - which it was .

But on Autozone listing Airtex/Wells had verbiage indicating that they had "value engineered" the DIC to make it more reliable, certainly leading me to believe they were making it and had improved it, but it appears that they engage in false and deceptive marketing practices. I am one who usually lodges complaints about companies that do this.
