I can't recall the torque specs for the valve cover but do recall they seem pretty light so I'd take a swing at tightening them a bit more - assuming you have that 1/2 moon thing properly seated in the valley - I think the gasket has ridges on it there.
There are many cars that replacing the valve gaskets is a far more trying experience, especially some V6 models where the intake manifold has to come off, and then if there is a leak after all is re-assembled it's disheartening.
