Problem getting it out?
Try to 'artfully' use a short socket with a 1" long extension or a deeper socket and short swings. First time I did this I used a 17mm stubby box wrench, but I found a socket works, if it's just the right depth.
Problem getting it back in, keeping the rear washer on?
Installing has been tricky for me each time (about six 9-5 WP's for me now). Swedecar has a tip to leave the pump bolts slack until the the banjo bolt is started. See the link.
Hope this helps some.
