Agreed, the brand names have started marketing LED replacements. In my case, I will continue to use LL for license plates because they last over 5 yrs and are inexpensive. I am, however interested in replace THE SINGLE (not yelling but emphasizing) backup bulb on our Dame Edna for an LED with more output. My understanding is that Lucas, the Prince of Darkness will not set a trouble light on the dash for this heresy. With LED's coming down in price, I can see more survivors of Saab's Long Commute sporting them.
