Fully half (one of 2) Zimmerman rotors I purchased (9-5 Aero front) had a casting flaw that would cause them to warp when hot, but return to flat after they cooled. Devilishly difficult to diagnose, as the car would stop fine after whatever anyone did to fix the problem, but then vibrate like crazy during use. First I had them turned. Then I measured the runout and replaced the one side that had the highest runout. It was the other one that was bad...
