After market brake light switch - AND Q about SAAB switch Posted by Mark in Marine [Email] (#1837) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mark in Marine) on Sun, 27 May 2018 18:03:49 In Reply to: After market brake light switch is incorrectly clocked, SWEDECAR [Profile/Gallery] , Sun, 27 May 2018 13:11:59 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Thanks Swedecar !
So I should be checking / cleaning the Left Side switch for troubleshooting / resolving intermittent ABS errors ? I read WIS, but got it backward =(.
And a Question about the SAAB part that is in the car for the Right Side cruise switch: It has 5 part numbers on it - 2 numbers on one face and 3 numbers on the opposing face. The "2-number face" has 90245780 as one of the numbers. Is this switch usable in either function depending on how it is oriented ? I assumed the switch was original to the car, but I do not have full maintenance history.
The FACET aftermarket switch seemed physically "okay" and it was in a box marked 90245780, so I thought that it matched one of the part numbers of the SAAB switch that is in place and working. I see what you mean about rewiring, because the physical connector can only go on one way =).
Thanks again !
