1. A/C was re-gassed about a month ago for first time in 50,000 miles. All was good for a while but now the system is way below par and it seems that there are multiple leak points. One is at the compressor itself and there are some o-rings too. New compressor beckons.
Does anyone have any experience with the Nissens compressor? I've used their radiators but that's all. Danish company but I am sure the parts are Chinese.
Any idea how big a job this is? Is it a DIY? Appreciate your help as always.
2. Also folks, does anyone have any input on whether this is a good time to do a 'pre-emptive strike' at a turbo replacement? Its going fine but I'm at 110,000 so I'm just wondering...... I have a new one in my cupboard waiting for the day. Tempting.....
