Sounds like it is just the roller(s) as that is what happens when one or both fail. The rubber window slide that will probably be at the bottom of the door can be reattached with rubber cement or silicone. It goes in the channel on the latch end of the door. You may be able to buy time by moving the window up to the proper closed position with your hands and then running the motor until it holds the window up. A problem I have encountered is the plastic inside trim around the window getting very brittle from age and cold. When it breaks you discover it is no longer available and is even hard to find used. Don't forget to lubricate the channels the green rollers slide in and have some cement or durable tape to reapply the thin door dust/water/noise covering that is cemented to the door
