Well, not a good day for dodging northeast potholes. 45 mpg or so on winding back road at night, noticed some trash cans and snow strewn across the road on a sharp turn. I was thinking those cans are sticking out in the road a bit too much and what is that snow from? What I failed to notice was the 4 foot long and 4 inch thick reinforced steel trailer ramp lying cross ways across my lane. Ka-thump and both passenger side tires are toast. No time to react, probably a good thing because I really had no where to go. Limped it to my brothers house. Don't think there's any other damage other than slight bends in the wheels. 7k on the tires though, only a year new. Now it's up on jackstands, I plan to reverse the mounting on the left front to move it to the back and get two new tires for the front. Ouch.
