Removed wiring harness on rear deck speakers

I removed the wiring harness on my rear deck wiring to accommodate new speakers which didn't end up working anyway. So, the plan is to probably fix the old speaker and put back in. Now that I destroyed the wiring harness setup is there a positive and negative on the 6 X 9 speakers where I can hook up with regular terminal ends that I put on the wiring??
