As stated already, the Saab 9-5 air needs to be filled by weight after the system has been fully vacuumed and leak check.

These are variable pressure systems that use a lot less HP it cooling. The 30 PSI is a rough low pressure reading. You are getting not high pressure reading. The tech 2 will actually give you the high reading from the system sensor.

Filling is done by weight. If you want to do it yourself, get a vacuum pump, gauges, refrigerant and accurate scales.
