Not the DIC, so I take out the existing plugs and use some fine emory paper to touch up the electrode tips and side contacts. I put 'em back in and car runs without any CEL or misfire codes. Nonetheless, I order from "The Rock" new NGK Laser Platinum PFR6H-10 plugs listed as a compatible upgrade to the existing NGK BCPR6EGP plugs in the 2003 9-5 Linear. These PFR6H-10 also listed and installed in my 2008 Aero and my son's 2005 Arc. SO....I put them in the Linear and turn the key and WTF!!! Car starts hard and idles rough and irregularly. I put the old BCPR6EGP plugs back in and the car calms down. I recheck "THe Rock" website and it wasn't my misread and the NGK website lists both type plugs as AOK for the Linear. So one or more of the new plugs must be bad? Maybe I swap them one by one into my 2008 Aero to test? I suppose brand new plugs can be defective, or what else ..???
