Please... (the "please" didn't fit in the subject line).
I go off searching for new front rotors for our '06 2.3T wagon. All the online parts stores tell me that 288mm and 302mm both fit. I realize this is wrong (can't have two different sizes, obviously) and go off on an internet-wide search. What I discover is that each Saab has a tag on the door that apparently tells one the size of the rotor and caliper! Great! I check the tag and the front rotors are "AF." Excellent, progress!
I Google Saab "AF" rotors and discover that this is a rotor for the 2010-11 Mk2 9-5, and has nothing to do with my car, which is bizarre. I then find multiple threads arguing over which one is the proper rotor, 288 or 302. Some people claim that all '06s are Aero brakes and therefore the 302 fits. Others say that 288 is sometimes the right rotor. In any event, neither 288 or 302 falls under the "AF" code.
So, what the hell do I need to order? Please help. Tag pic below for reference.
