that message means that the total current draw, measured at orange relay, is lower than expected.
a few normal causes that come to mind:
- a brake light is out
- *one* of the lights in the damned third light cluster is out, sometimes not obvious to see.
- using more efficient bulbs, like LEDs
- using lower power draw bulbs (Im not sure what the "standard" wattage is, and not sure if 8 vs 7 watts is enough to trigger it)
possible abnormal causes:
- orange relay is failing
I am not certain how to test the orange relay (surely there is a test procedure). I keep a few on hand and swap in a new if I suspect a problem. its an easy enough test.
