I disagree with you George. I have a 2k SE and just drove an 01 wagon with the 185hp four. The SE has much more low end torque than the base 4 has. Yes the Aero is probably much better at 230hp but I haven't driven one yet to compare. Even then I would question the value for the money from an engine standpoint only. Understood that the handling package also contibutes to the higher price on the Aero. One other sidebar about the four, it was new, less than 2k on it but according to the SID and the rapid downturn of the fuel gauge it was only getting 21mpg, while my v6 gets about 24.5 with only 5k miles on it.
