Hi all,
'04 9-5 Aero 5 speed, 91k miles, mint, 100% stock, runs and drives fantastic, running 93 octane only, no hesitation, miss-firing or warning lights. New problem though: It drives as expected UNTIL boost needle reaches end of yellow / early red, then it feels like the car is running out of fuel and/or miss-firing badly enough that the car stumbles / lurches, as power cuts out.

I don't think it is because of over-boosting, the car isn't making crazy power before this happens (unlike a 9000 Aero I used to own that had a bad BPC and would boost DEEP into red and hit fuel cutoff). And with smooth power up until max "normal" boost, it doesn't feel like previous DI cassette failures to me. DI cassette was replaced 2 yrs and 10k miles ago, along with fresh plugs, so would be surprised if it failed that quickly.

Any ideas as to what this could be? Fuel pump on its way out? Really scratching my head here.

THANKS!!!
Happy 4th!

Rick
