Taking off that plastic window trim without breaking it is one of the toughest parts of the job in winter. I haven’t tried it, but putting something like Gorilla tape on the trim before removal might help. This trim is not available and hard to find used, don’t ask how I know. Put some silicone lubricant on the track before reassembly and look for the rubber channel track in the bottom of the door in case it fell off, as it often does. It’s also a good time to make sure the bottom of the door isn’t full of crap and is draining properly.
