I agree that these Saabs are fantastic long-road cars. I put more long days in with my 9000 Aero than I can remember (MT to CA in a single day or the other way around).
I've had three 9-5 wagons (all with the B235R engine). For some reason, my current ride gets terrible gas mileage. My 2004 Aero would often exceed 30 mpg (indicated and calculated) while my current 2006 Combi gets mid-twenties doing the same drives. No codes, and it feels less powerful than the 2004.
I plan to re-do the entire vacuum line/PCv setup this summer.
