When the ABS went out and was sent to BBA, I put about 1,500 miles on my car. I had a Garmin GPS which acted like a speedometer since the speedometer did not work nor did the odometer and it would take the GPS a while to figure out where it was and track distance driven. I just treated the car as if it was an older model without ABS. I left more stopping distance from cars in front and pumped the brakes on wet pavement, if needed. i.e. be much more careful with the ABS out of the car. [I used to drive in Washington, DC traffic on I-95, then.]
Good luck
