I would start with the easy stuff
- new plugs (NGKs of course)
- swap in a known good, oem, DIC
- check carefully all of the vacuum lines (this actually is not so easy but check the soft lines, the hard lines to and from the booster)
- confirm that the intake tube on top of the TB is seated properly and tight
TB
- confirm the TB is not in limp home
- scan for ODB codes
Fuel pump
- confirm that the fuel pump spins up when the key is turned to "on"
fuel check valve
- cycle the key to on and off (pause at on until the FP stops) 4 or 5 times to build up fuel pressure. then start.
CPS
- I dont know how to check the CPS. I generally replace it on a schedule (every 100k mi)
batt
- measure rest batt voltage, and the voltage drop when starting (attempting to start)
