TWICE programming failure Posted by TML [Email] (#2212) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TML) on Mon, 11 Oct 2021 06:12:43 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I tried to program my new TWICE, and can't get past the first step. Following the WIS procedure, I installed the new module, set the antenna ring aside from the ignition module and held the transponder (thing that just looks like the top piece of a key fob) above the ring while turning the ignition with the key. The dash display reads "key not accepted" every time I tried. Per the instructions, I tried five times and disconnected and reconnected the battery before trying again a bunch of times. No change. Is there something I'm missing? I'm really questioning whether there's even anything in the "transponder"; it's mostly hollow and the part that isn't is the part that appears to be solid plastic, the loop part where the key ring would go.
