Best 9-5 Manual Clutch Job Pricing in Wash DC Area? Posted by Skoobotch [Email] (#75) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Skoobotch) on Sun, 19 Jun 2022 21:05:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My son's 2005 9-5 Arc 5spd clutch pedal suddenly went to the floor a few weeks ago and from my investigation I decided to try a DIY clutch master cylinder replacement ($60 part cost). WEll... not the hoped for easy solution.. After brake/clutch fluid replacement and bleed, I had nice firm clutch pedal that was very effective in pumping to the clutch slave cylinder ..AND BEYOND!! Yes... it's the leaking slave cylinder requiring tranny and subframe removal. I've only called up one Northern Virginia former Saab shop now merged with a BMW shop and best pricing I could get was a $1900 quote for labor allowing me to bring my own purchased parts. Any current recommendations in my area that might have a better deal?
