OBD2 codes are 4 digits, so is your p400 actually a p0400 or a p4000, or something else? How did you read the code? Is it triggering a CEL?
"Check ok" does not, to my knowledge, refer to odbc2 codes.(however I'm not certain of that)
ACC diags (AUTO+OFF) will check only the mechanical operation of the blend and distribution portion of the system. It will not check the A/C proper. So blowing hot could be any number of "regular a/c" issues like low refrigerant, no refrigerant, failed compressor, bad a/c relay, etc etc etc.
