I had an old DIC, which I swapped in after it wouldn't start, and it did start, but ran very very rough, as that DIC was problematic from my past experiences.. and I assume it was responsible for throwing the P0303 code. I then immediately swapped back the original DIC, and it started right up , and smoothly. So I ordered a new OEM DIC yesterday, as I'll be getting rid of that old backup.
The CPS is a Bosch, the car has 310k miles, and the battery cables are original, though the car has always been garaged with absolutely no signs of corrosion on the cables.
This morning I repaired the J16 ECU harness connection, which is known to cause the P0134 code. The code immediately cleared when I restarted the car.. so hopefully that's done with..
So basically that leaves me with just the cold start issue. I'm hoping the new DIC addresses this issue. As I said previously, priming the fuel rail, by turning the key on a few times following failure, doesn't help. It only restarts following the stalling, if I let it sit 5 or 10 minutes after it stalls, which would seem to rule out the check valve, and I would expect the car to show other symptoms while running, if the fuel pump was the issue.. ?
Thanks for the input..
